BE CREATIVE

CREATIVE COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS AND OTHER OPPORTUNITIES TO GET CREATIVE!

At the heart of what we do is building creative communities. We believe that everybody should have space in their life for being creative, and that creativity is one of the most powerful tools for building vibrant communities.  We run workshops and creative projects for people across Greater Manchester, all focused on developing creative talents, improving wellbeing and being part of a community.

Priority space is given to young people (16-21), Hulme and Moss Side residents, and to LGBTQIA+ people in Manchester for these workshops, but you can also find us working with multiple organisations across the city to curate different workshops.

All of these projects are free of charge, and have opportunity to collaborate on and off stage, with members of the Untold Orchestra! Take a look at planned, ongoing and past projects below and we hope to see you soon!

UNTOLD JAMS (16-21)

Getting into the music industry is difficult, and we want to play our part in helping young people take their first steps into the industry. Following on from our orchestra cypher, we are working with a number of youth organisations to create a series of jam nights and cypher events, offering 16-21 year old musicians on stage experience, mentorship and chance to build their own creative community.

THINGS FOR THE FAMILY

Alongside the above workshops, we work with partners including Manchester Pride, RNCM, Bury Hospice and more to create opportunities for the whole family. From shows focused on iconic children's movies, to open rehearsals in NIAMOS, to performances in parks and garden centres, we are always looking to find new ways of getting the whole family to experience live music together!

As a charity, we accept donations that help support our work providing creative opportunities to communities in Manchester. We are grateful for any support people can give!
